When we run
Leyland Playscheme is from Monday 2nd - Friday 6th August 2027 Samlesbury Playscheme is from Monday 26th - Friday 30th July 2027. Children aged 4 to 14 are welcome, and we support a wide range of needs wherever we possibly can.

Places sell fast. In 2026, Leyland bookings closed within three days of opening.
Fees and what they cover
The scheme is not free, but it is heavily subsidised by our fundraising and supporters. The fee covers a full week of activities, trips and outings, which is remarkable value for what is included. Fees for 2027 are not yet set.

- Craft and sports materials
- Trained, DBS-checked volunteers
- Packed lunch and drink
- Suncream and a hat
- A coat, whatever the forecast
- Old clothes, because they will get messy
Common questions
Yes, many children do. Register for each week separately and we will do the rest.
Doors open at 8.45am and the day finishes at 3.45pm. Please note we cannot accept children before 8:45am.
Yes, wherever we possibly can, and that includes a limited number of one-to-one places. Complete the additional needs form as soon as you have registered, and talk to us if you are unsure.
The scheme runs whatever the weather. We move indoors, swap the programme around and carry on. Pack a coat.
